about

"Metz and his Gang have honoured Tough well with a thoroughly delightful recording." Jazz Times

A highly acclaimed top drummer with one of the strongest debuts in the Nagel Heyer history. This recording is a tribute to Davie Tough, one of last centuries finest drummers. Even if he died much too early with only 28, Tough is still a jazz legend and well remembered after all these years.
